Board of Review
The Board of Review is a quasi-judicial board which meets on an annual basis during the 45 day period beginning the fourth Monday in April. The activities of the Board are governed by Wis. Stats 70.47.
Open Book Period
The Open Book Period is an opportunity to discuss the value of your property. Village Assessor can explain the methodology and facts used to determine the assessed value shown on the Assessment Notice. This period is particularly important for property owners who believe the market value of their property differs from the assessed value and have information to share with the assessor.
The 2024 Real Estate Assessment Roll is available here and can be seen in-person at the Village Clerk’s office during office hours.
I Disagree with the Assessed Value:
At the conclusion of open book, if your opinion of value still differs from the assessment, you may file a formal written objection. Please contact the office at 715-394-3171 with any questions. Please note that providing your opinion of market value is required.

Board of Review:
The final municipal review of assessments is conducted at the Board of Review. The Board of Review is a quasi-judicial body comprised of the Board of Trustees who hear cases and make final determinations on value. The Board of Review will meet ______________________, 2025, from xx p.m to xx p.m., at the Oliver Village Hall.

For more information regarding the process to file an objection to appear before the Board of Review, the meeting schedule, or filing forms contact the Village Clerk’s Office at (715) 394-3171. Objection filings may be mailed in original signed paper copies or delivered in-person to the Village Clerk, 2125 E State St., Superior, WI 54880, or emailed to the Village Clerk by the filing deadline.
Total 2024 Tax Rate = $19.31 per $1000 of Assessed Value.
